Tim Skiles grew up in Wichita, Kansas. As a teenager Tim served as general staff and cabin counselor at Sooner Bible Camp (Oklahoma) and Turkey Hill Ranch Bible Camp (Missouri). It was at these camps that the Holy Spirit taught him through God’s word and the lives of his mentors about being a servant and Spiritual gifting. As he continued to surrender his will to God’s, his love and passion for sharing the gospel and discipleship grew.

He moved to Michigan in 2011 where he attended The Ezekiel Project School of Evangelism for a year and then served full-time in teaching and discipleship ministries until 2022.

Since 2018 God has given opportunities for Tim to speak at Turkey Hill Ranch Bible Camp (MO), Sooner Bible Camp (OK), Camp Li Lo Li (NY), Horton Haven Christian Camp (TN), as well as various VBS weeks and other youth events. He loves to use puppets, and chalk drawings (“Chalk Talks”) to communicate the precious truths of God’s Word and to see people young and old coming to know and falling deeper in love with the Lord Jesus.

Tim married his wife Kristy in April 2024 and they live on the outskirts of Detroit, Michigan. Tim works in various management roles for a company dealing in construction and agricultural machinery parts in the midst of a highly populated Muslim community where he desires to shine the gospel to his coworkers and community. Kristy’s past work has been teaching piano and voice. She has taught children through the ministry of Boys and Girls Bible Clubs for many years, is very active in discipleship and women’s ministry as well as ministering to her family. Tim and Kristy love serving together in the communication of God’s Word through discipleship and encouragement letting the Holy Spirit lead them in His work. To God be the glory!

We are excited to have Tom Skiles and his wife Kristy join us for Whitewater Bible Camp 2025.  Tom has been given opportunities to speak at some great Bible camps over the last several years.  These camps include Turkey Hill Ranch Bible Camp, Sooner Bible Camp, Camp Li Lo Li, and Horton Haven Christian Camp.  Tim uses puppets and chalk drawings to captivate his audiences of all ages as he tells of the precious truths of God's Word.  We can't wait to see what messages Tim brings to share with us this year at Whitewater Bible Camp.  Hope to see you there!!!
